So it's been about 4 months since my last blog... seriously where does the time go? A lot of things have changed and life is not as we have known it.
Mason and Weston are playing baseball back in the Murray Liberty League again this year (played in E.M. last year...not the best idea) Mason plays for the Met's and Weston plays for the Red Wings!! Woo-who. They've been playing for two freaking cold weeks and I have had it with going to games in a coat, hat, gloves and a blanket... aren't they called the "boys of summer" for a reason?

Christmas

Put up my Christmas tree and decorated my house last week end...yah I know 2nd weekend in November might be a little early but as everyone that knows me will tell you I LOVE THE CHRISTMAS SEASON!!! Not so much for "Christm
as Day" but the entire getting ready for Christmas, Decorating, finding gifts, parties, get togethers the entire package. So I start early because it is my favorite time of year and as of Christmas day I am ready to take it all down and clean it all up, because by that time the place is a mess with torn wrapping paper, packages, new toys blah blah blah and that is when I need it to be done; so I figure if it is going to be done the day after Christmas and I am going to all the work to decorate to the nines I might as well have a few weeks to enjoy it by starting early. So three weeks to November no problem....:) BTW started listening to Christmas music too much to the annoyance of Mason and Weston. :)

Birds and the Bees
Had one of the funniest conversations of my life with my children (Weston) day before yesterday. This is how it went down...
We were leaving Grandma Gray's viewing and Mason mentioned that she looked a lot better in her casket than the last guy he saw in a casket (he went to some funeral with my mom when she was watching him one time) any how he asked if they pull their skin back and if they do plastic surgery on them, which made Weston ask "what is plastic surgery?" I explained it is when a doctor cuts your skin and pulls it back and works on your insides, then he sews your skin back together when he is done. At this point he asked about my scare from having Mason (c-section) and wanted to know if I still had it. I explained that I would always have it, but I didn't care because I was just happy that Mason was able to come out safe. He then said "Mason came out of your tummy but I came out of your butt!" Which totally made me laugh, I figured I had to set him straight and tell him how it really worked, so I said "No Weston, you didn't come out of my butt, you came out of my vagina" and his reply was "OH MOM I'M NOT READY TO HEAR ABOUT THAT YET!!!" Oh my gosh I started laughing hysterically, couldn't stop. What kid says that to their mom? Toooo funny, glad I wrote that comment down so someday I can recall every detail of the conversation to tell his future girlfriend or wife...the joys of motherhood, not only do I get to laugh at the comment today, but I will get years of enjoyment out of it!!!

Football
Last flag football game of the season today...Mason made the first touch down of the day and Weston made the last touch down of the game and the season!!! They both played really tough and had a good time their first season of football. I was hesitant to get them into football, but after seeing how much fun they had we will definitely do it again next year...although next year Mason will move up to tackle rather than flag, that might make a difference to mom.

My First Blog...eeekkk!!!
OK so here it is my 1st blog....I guess I need to set the seen. #1 ME...Traci I am 35 (how did that happen?) I feel the same as I did when I was 25. I have been married to James for almost 14 years!!! We have three beautiful sons, Mason (10 next month) is totally into Baseball and is dreaming of moving to Boston to become a member of the Boston Red Sox one day and don't think for one minute it won't happen; Weston (8 as of June), is currently playing soccer (not my favorite sport or his dads fav, but it keeps him running so it's all good!), he is also playing flag football (with Mason) for the first time and wow is he a Shake n' Baker! Then there's my baby, Jackson 3 1/2, he is the sweetest spirit and is loved immediately by anyone that meets him. Jackson's life revolves around Thomas the Tank Engine and Buzz Light Year, is there anything else? We have recently moved to the boondocks...a.k.a Eagle Mountian. We love our new house and are working on making it a home, but find it hard sometimes due to the fact that our lives are always drawn to Salt Lake City. I work part time for Thomas Fox Properties in SLC and James is an emergency nurse at LDS Hospital (until next month when he moves to the new IMC) which takes us both to SLC everyday, making it difficult to committing to life in the "country".
So there it is my #1 blog....and don't you think I don't have more to say because honey there is so much to say...
